Privacy Policy

What Data Do We Collect?
The providers we use for mailing lists, event listings and surveys store data in a secure, encrypted database, in line with GDPR regulations.
Contact details provided when registering for our monthly newsletter are held on Mailerlite’s servers. Contact details provided when registering for an event via Eventbrite are held on Eventbrite’s servers. Survey responses, along with any email address given to enter a survey prize draw, are held on SurveyMonkey’s servers and the WCCA’s server for the duration of the project.
What Do We Use Your Data For?
The data of subscribers to our monthly newsletter will only be used to send a monthly email.
The data of those who have registered for events via Eventbrite will only be used to (a) provide information about attending the event they have registered for (b) notifying people of new events listed on Eventbrite (only if someone has opted into receiving notifications about new events).
Survey responses are anonymised and used only for our research and any resulting reports. They are held for 60 days after the report is published, then permanently deleted. Email addresses given for a prize draw (if applicable) are used only to notify winners.
