We have joined The Climate Coalition, network that brings together charities and grassroots organisations to become a collective voice for change, and previously led a campaign that led to the UK becoming the first major economy to set a legally-binding net zero target.
The Coalition is involved in many areas such as public affairs, government relations and policy. They also run the annual ‘Great Big Green Week’ in June from the 8th-16th, an event that celebrates community action to tackle climate change. The WCCA joins other organisations as members of The Climate Coalition including Friends of the Earth England, Wales and Northern Ireland, Greenpeace, WWF and UNICEF.
