Prior to our launch date on October 1st, we will be appearing on a remote panel discussion hosted by the Working Class Economists Group about climate and class on August 7th at 7pm BST. We will be drawing focus to the strained relations between the working and middle class within environmentalism, and how this negatively impacts movement building. Additionally, we will be briefly sketching out how we plan to overcome these issues as an organisation.
We will be joined by:
- John Barry, Professor of Green Political Economy at Queen’s University Belfast.
- Asad Rehman, Director of War on Want.
