We will be at the We Make Tomorrow Conference on Sunday 28th January. It is a one day, in-person event which will be held at: National Education Union, Hamilton House, Mabledon Place London WC1H 9BB.
The conference will be centred around building workers’ power amidst of the climate crisis. The programme will cover:
- Health, care and public services.
- Planes, trains and automobiles – transport for people and planet.
- Powering the future: energy, buildings and industry.
- From farm to plate: growing a fair food system.
There will also be trade union breakouts to connect with other trade unionists. The day will run from 10am-5pm GMT. Tickets can be purchased on Eventbrite here, with free tickets available to those who need them.
We are officially supporting this conference that has been organised by the Climate Justice Coalition and War on Want. The WCCA joins other supporters including Extinction Rebellion, Fuel Poverty Action, Greater Manchester Hazards Centre and UNISON.
