Lumpen journal: just transition special edition

In January 2025 we published a one-off, just transition themed edition of the Lumpen Journal in collaboration with the Class Work Project.

Despite working class people being the central focus of the Just Transition, all too often their voices remain overlooked in conversations about it. This edition sought to address that imbalance by highlighting working class writers from across the Global North and Global South, including several of our own members.

It presents workers’ perspectives alongside reflections on the transition and its effects on their communities.
