The Just Transition themed edition of Lumpen journal that we co-edited with the Class Work Project has now been published and is available to purchase! This edition features writers from across the Global North and Global South, including several of our very own members.
Despite working class people being the central focus of the just transition, all too often, their voices remain overlooked in lieu of more privileged individuals in society often, white, middle class voices from the Global North. Even though all voices – no matter where we are, or indeed who we are, deserve an equal seat at the table to ensure that such a transition is an egalitarian one. This edition seeks to redress the lack of inclusion in the climate debate – we hope you enjoyed it as much as we enjoyed working on it!
